AMV My girlfriend introduced me to Pretty Cure, well, I did watch a couple of Futari wa pretty cure episodes as a kid-- and I also watched the terrible adaptational dub for Glitter force with one of my best friends...But my gf got me into it seriously haha ^o^;; My favorite seasons are definitely Fresh and Tropical-rouge....... please enjoy!

I love DIVA and figured Fresh was the perfect opportunity to use it in an AMV! It's upbeat tempo is just perfect imo, and I wanted to introduce more people to our lesbian electro-pop queen from Chile ^_^ Still, I tried to match the lyrics to the scenes even if I didn't really account for them to be as relevant as the music itself... Please give them a read! I tried my best to translate it... so please read my notes on it on yt!

ManaLaura made me cry so much! So it was only fair to make an AMV for them, I decided on another Javiera Mena song because the beat and the imagery are really summer-adjacent...well, oasis adjacent I guess...! Please enjoy and give the lyrics a read even if they're not that important to the AMV... BTW, morning glory flowers are usually tied to the themes of innocence and young love in Japan.

My first precure AMV! Obviously, there was going to be a The Little Mermaid spin on Tropical Rouge, but as I watched it while it aired with my girlfriend, I would've never guessed it would entail the Witch of Delay's past with Aunete.... it was heartbreaking... The witch was the little mermaid all along, I cried so much as she turned into foam... This was my first Precure AMV, and after the reveal I just had to use Hikki's mermaid... BTW, red anemones are usually tied to the themes of forsaken love or lost love due to a death--which ties in with ManaLaura's use of morning glories...!
