This game left me completely perplexed as a kid. Which is an amazing thing if you think about it... One of the few games I never played myself but watched my dad play and replay it, zoe2 gave me insane motion sickness even as a little kid haha. The story is wonderful, and the OST is... magnificent, to say the least. I remember fluking the opening theme song, Beyond the Bonds by Maki Kimura, in POP'N MUSIC if only because I remembered the song extremely well OTL... I feel like, given the plot and themes, this game is calling me to finally play it myself. I think it will certainly feel very contemporary... It feels like hack n slash for this game as a descriptor falls short for its actual gameplay...
